What to call about, season by season

Grouped the way Atlanta's year actually goes: a long hot stretch, a short cold one, and the airflow work that matters in both.

May–Sep · 81–90°F

Cooling

The months when the AC runs every afternoon.

  • AC running but not cooling

Air blowing warm, the thermostat never reaching its setting, or the outdoor unit sitting silent while the fan runs inside.

  • Air conditioner repair

Finding why a system stopped, short-cycles, freezes up, or leaks water, then fixing that part.

  • Replacing an older system

When repair no longer makes sense, sizing and installing a new unit that fits the house.

Dec–Feb · 54–58°F

Heating

Short, but the nights get cold.

  • No heat, or not enough

Furnace or heat pump not starting, cycling off early, or blowing air that never warms up.

  • Pre-season check

A look at the system in fall, before the first cold night shows what's wrong.

All year

Air and airflow

Problems that don't care what month it is.

  • Rooms that never feel right

One bedroom always hot, one always cold. Often a duct or airflow problem, not the equipment.

  • Thermostats and controls

Replacing or rewiring a thermostat that reads wrong or won't talk to the system.
